Traditional equipment typically associated with this type of training, heavy bags/Thai pads/focus mitts/body shields, are combined with equipment typically used in a CrossFit setting, jump ropes/kettlebells/battle ropes/medicine balls.
Work to rest ratios are kept in the 1:1 or 2:1 range.
Then we add MyZone Fitness technology to the class.
By monitoring your heart rate, calories burned, and effort levels, you get immediate feedback as to what type of workout you’re getting.
No more guessing how hard you worked out, or looking to see how sweaty your shirt is to judge. You will have a solid score for the class, and so will your classmates.
